What is PCGen?
PCGen has been a massive labor of love started by Merton Monk (Bryan McRoberts), and is now shared by 100+ helpers and thousands of users.
PCGen is a character generator and maintenance program aimed at supporting any RPG material we can get our hands on. Currently our focus is on material released under the Open Gaming License (OGL). A secondary goal is to support as many house rules as possible. PCGen is meant to be easy to modify to suit your own campaign, and users are encouraged to share their creations. PCGen is 100% Free!
Where can I get PCGen?

Joining the project
PCGen is an Open Source Software Initiative and, as such, relies entirely on the efforts of many volunteers. The project is always in need of more volunteers.
If you would like to join we would love to have you. The easiest way to join is to post a message to the PCGen YahooDiscussion Group with the subject of “I want to help” and you will be contacted by a Tracker Monkey asking you what area you would like to contribute to.
You may also contact the Silverback of a team you are interested in joining directly. A list of the current Silverbacks can be found on the BoD section of the wiki.
You can join the Yahoo group from any e-mail address, not just a Yahoo one. If you don’t have a Yahoo Account or don’t wish to create one, you can subscribe to the mailing list by sending a blank e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
